Development Manager, Credit Systems

Summary
PenFed is hiring a Development Manager, Credit Systems at our headquarters in McLean, Virginia. The primary purpose of this job is to perform analysis on PenFed’s Lending Services business processes and technology for improvement and assist in program delivery. In addition, the incumbent will represent Credit System interests with stakeholders, support analysis of loan portfolios, facilitate stakeholder requirement sessions, and provide data, functional and process analysis for requirement development and testing traceability.

  • Articulate, draft and compose accurate and detailed business requirements based upon future state analysis and design.
  • Work with systems, data and stakeholders to mine and document current base state requirements. Ability to research using SQL.
  • A thorough command of program risk and how to deliver value-driven programs timely and efficiently.
  • Diagram and model processes, operational risk, technology use and other components of the business architecture concurrently.
  • Compose use cases and populate requirements in test harnesses.
  • Drive strategy execution.
  • Assist with change management and change readiness related to program adoption.


Education and Experience
Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree in Business preferred.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years’ of experience of progressive responsibility on financial system program requirements or delivery.
  • Must be an excellent communicator (written and orally) and have superior attention to detail.
  • Experience with Agile and PM methodologies
  • Knowledge of loan lifecycle and credit systems preferred.
  • Experience with relational database management systems (SQL Server) to drive requirements discovery.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position will directly supervise employees.

Licenses and Certifications
There are no additional licenses and/or certifications required.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.
*Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.*

Travel
Ability to travel to various worksites and be on-call is required.
