Open House Host

Summary

Berkshire Hathaway PenFed Realty is hiring an Open House Host in Flower Mound, Texas. The primary purpose of this job is to be the initial point of contact in an industry dependent on building strong client relationships and we are looking for candidates with outgoing, friendly attitudes to make our weekend visitors feel welcome and comfortable. This is a weekend position, primarily Sundays, with a high focus on customer service, attention to detail and agent assistance. Job duties include, but are not limited to; greeting and welcoming guests and walking them through sign-in protocols, keeping a watchful eye on visitors and ensuring the safety of the homeowners belongings, assisting an on-duty agent with various administrative tasks, and relaying feedback from guests to the homeowner after the completion of the event.

  • Greet guests at open house events and explain sign in procedures.
  • Follow up with the seller to provide feedback at the end of the open house.
  • Direct all questions from prospective buyers to licensed real estate agents on duty.
  • Assist licensed real estate agents on duty with set up, and tear down of assigned open house events.
  • The host must NOT point out features of the home or neighborhood to visitors.

Education and Experience

Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.

  • High School Diploma or a combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfactorily perform the essential job functions. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • Basic computer and copier knowledge to assist agents with technical issues.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and Adobe PDF Reader.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position will not supervise employees.

Licenses and Certifications

There are no additional licenses and/or certifications required.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.

*Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.*

Travel

Local travel to various worksites is required.
